David was the 'first' draftcard burner in the United States in 1965 and was imprisoned for two years for that act. David is part of the Reclaiming community of witches in San Francisco. He gives workshops and lectures in feminist spirituality/peace activism and sings with friends in Europe and U.S. David released the single: "Ami Go Home" David's book "I Didn't Know God Made Honky Tonk Communists" (a memoir about draftcard burning, witchcraft, and the sexual meaning of ballgames) chronicles his dance through life.
